About this event
Join us for our first ever virtual conference! We’ll host six sessions over two days, October 1-2.
As much as we want to see all of you in person, your safety is much more important. For that reason, we are so pleased to announce our virtual conference! We will offer six invigorating sessions split over two days. Three of those sessions will explore the mental health impacts of pandemics while the other three will highlight our sites’ collaborative projects and discuss innovations like pharmacogenomics. We are confident this offers us all the opportunity to cover crucial topics related to the pandemic while still learning about the network’s ongoing work.
Each session will include functions specifically designed to encourage collaboration and interaction between attendees. Sessions will include a short lecture and then a Q&A section featuring expert panelists. During the lecture and Q&A you'll be able to use the chat function to address the audience and use the question function to ask questions to the panelists--you'll even be able to up-vote questions you really want answered!

Virtual Poster Session
The virtual poster session will be split into two 45-minute time blocks, one each following the main conference program at approximately 2pm ET on October 1 and 2. Posters will be assigned to one of the two sessions prior to the event, with exact timing to be confirmed closer to the event dates. Abstracts for all posters will be made available for conference attendees on the NNDC website. Posters will be presented during virtual Q&A sessions with attendees during the assigned time.
Presenters who wish to host a virtual Q&A session must provide their own Zoom link; these will be collected prior to the event and made available to attendees via a secure web page only on the day of the poster session. Presenters may instead choose to provide only their email contact information for questions from conference attendees.
Zoom links to access poster presentations will be made available the day of the event. Abstracts can be viewed ahead of time at nndc.org/annual-conference
